SOAR with Thoughtful Blend of College Tours, Fun and Friendships

Our college tour camp offers an extraordinary opportunity for campers aged 12-17 to explore college campuses and enjoy exciting adventures with camp friends in the northeastern region of the United States. Participants will embark on guided tours of over 10 prestigious colleges and universities, immersing themselves in campus life, extracurricular activities, and the excitement of summer in the Northeast. Alongside these educational experiences, campers will engage in the S.O.A.R. writing program, designed to cultivate Strategic Originality with Analytical Reasoning. They will also participate in a diverse range of enjoyable and culturally enriching activities, capturing the essence of summer camp while traveling.

As an optional add on, campers may participate in our PEACE writing program: a comprehensive course designed to teach and prepare students for crafting stand out college application essays.

Campers will experience traditions that define Camp Thousand Miles, from campfires to opening and closing ceremonies, and the enduring friendships woven into every facet of the program.

With a staff-to-camper ratio capped at 1 to 7, Camp Thousand Miles places the utmost priority on your child’s well-being and safety. Our campers always travel in groups, ensuring safety throughout their journey.
